Finally even vegans are able to eat „Panna Cotta“. There are many recipes of course but this is more than tasty because it tastes like coconuts. We invite you for a little tasting experience to the Caribbean. The recipe for our vegan Panna Cotta is done very fast and easily.
Ingredients for the Panna Cotta (4 persons):
- 1 can of coconut milk (400ml)
- 90 g plant cream (for example soy cream)
- 30 g sugar
- ½ vanilla pod
- 2 eating spoons lemon juice
- 2 tea spoons Agar – Agar
Ingredients for the fruit sauce and the topping:
- 100g raspberries
- 50g strawberries
- If you want mince
- If you want coconut graters
Preparation:
Put your bowls into the fridge (doesn’t matter if the bowl is made out of plastic or out of porcelain). Now you put all the ingredients for the Panna Cotta in one pot. Now let the mixture cook with some stirring and after that reduce the heat and let it there for 10 minutes. You may should stir sometimes. Now you can put out the bowls from the fridge and place the mixture in them. Now wait a little bit and after a while put the bowls back into the fridge for 2 hours. For the sauce just put 50g of the raspberries and the strawberries into a tall bowl and mix it up with a hand blender. And that was all now you have the ready sauce!
If the Panna Cotta was two hours in the fridge you can now take it easily out of the bowl if you cut the edge of it.
If it isn’t that easy just put it back into the fridge for about 30 minutes. Now you should be able to put it out of the bowl easily. Now you can decorate it with the sauce and the left over berries mince or the coconut graters.
And now good appetite or how you say on the Bahamas Bon Appétit!
